Two-pieced WH (Heeres o. KM) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') resp. showing the ribbons for a: WH (Heeres) 'Dienstauszeichnung' (of the 3rd class) and a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal
The neat two-pieced, WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') is respectively showing the ribbons for a: WH (Heeres o. KM) 'Dienst-Auszeichnung' (of the third class ie. '3. Stufe') that shows a firmly-attached golden-toned eagle-device attached and a: Czech 'Anschluss'-medal (which medal was awarded to all members of the armed forces that participated in the German occupation of Czechoslovakia, which started on 1 October 1938) both ribbons coming in an overall very nice- (and I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. Both ribbons are of the regular (ie. larger) ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 2,5 cms. each as is more often encountered (the 'Bandspange' has a total length of approximately 5 cms. as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spange' comes in a very nice condition overall and is of course fully functional: it is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but shows a firmly crimped 'backing-plate' and retains its functional pin-/catch-attachment (as can be seen on the pictures). The detailed - and firmly attached! - device shows some minimal age ie. tarnish but has been nicely preserved. This particular example was - I deem - only moderately worn ie. used: it does show some usage-marks and/or minimal aging ie. wear. Simply a neat, 2-pieced, WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) 'Band-/Feldspange' having a not that often seen combination: great to decorate almost any TR-tunic!
