WH (Luftwaffe) 'Armwinkel' (or: arm-chevron) as executed on typical bluish-grey-coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a soldier with the rank of: 'Obergefreiter'
This is an attractive - and I deem hardly used nor worn! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) 'Armwinkel' (ie.: arm-chevron) as was executed on a typical, bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background as was intended for usage by a soldier with the rank of: 'Obergefreiter' (ie. private first-class) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem just minimally used- ie. hardly worn ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The chevron is neatly executed and shows a double stripe of typical (bright-silverish-grey-coloured- and non-'sub-dued') and/or 'standard'-'dotted'-pattern NCO-braid attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is not 'backed' as more often seen (as can be seen on the pictures). It sounds maybe strange but these 'simple' Luftwaffe-related rank-insignia are quite hard to encounter. Simply an attractive WH-rank-badge that is accordingly priced!
