Neat - but regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern, 'cyphered' shoulderboard as was intended for an: 'Oberleutnant des Infanterie-Regiments 333'

This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single! - WH (Heeres) officers'-pattern (and neatly 'cyphered'!) shoulderboard as was piped in the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty used and worn by! - an: 'Oberleutnant des Infanterie-Regiments 333' (or: lieutnant first-class who served within the infantry-regiment numbered '333') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The board show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour (and was constructed from the 'smooth-type' wool as to be expected). The board comes mounted onto its (typical smaller-sized) tongue and measures approximately 10,7 cms. in length: it was just moderately worn- ie. carefully tunic-removed (as can be seen on the pictures). The board shows three (smaller-sized- and/or: 'Buntmetall'-based) '3'-numerals (ie. 'Ziffern') and an (equally styled) pip period-attached, denoting that the officer (ie. 'Oberleutnant' or lieutnant first-class) who was issued and used this board, served within the 'Infanterie-Regiment 333'. All four devices are just minimally stained- ie. tarnished but have preserved a fine and fairly bright- (and/or quite shiny) age-patina. This particular board originated from a larger cloth- ie. 'cyphered' shoulderstrap-collection I recently acquired for the web-site and shows - as stated above - just moderate usage ie. wear (just some moderate age, dust and/or staining is visible and/or present). Simply an attractive shoulderboard that belonged to an: 'Oberleutnant des Infanterie-Regiments 333': too bad that it is only a single piece!
