Superb - and never before seen! - later-war-period WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie) so-called: 'M44'-pattern- and/or: trapezoid-shaped breasteagle ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Superb - and never before seen! - later-war-period WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie) so-called: 'M44'-pattern- and/or: trapezoid-shaped breasteagle ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Uffz. der KM' o. Küst-Art.'

This is a very attractive - and never before seen and most certainly rarely encountered! - example of a typical later-war-period WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie) so-called: 'M44'-pattern- (and/or trapezoid-shaped) breasteagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Kriegsmarine') being a (typical) golden-yellow-coloured example that is executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern onto a darker-green-coloured background and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem 'virtually mint'- and/or simply never tunic-attached-), condition. The piece - which is executed in darker-green-coloured linnen - comes as 'straightly cut of the role' and will be hard to be upgraded (it just shows some fraying on both sides and is a tiny bit wrinkled). This was (apparently) the 'standard'-issue WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küsten-Artillerie) breasteagle that was intended to replace the regular-modelled eagles: I doubt that this M44-model ever saw usage. The eagle comes of course in a fully unconfectioned condition and just bears some truly minimal staining and/or wrinkled appearance simply caused by years of storage only. Just the first such example I did ever encountered!
