Superb - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless extremely rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) 'tropical' (ie. truly 'DAK'-related!) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for an: 'Unteroffizier der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen'

This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless extremely rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) 'tropical' (ie. I deem truly DAK- or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-related), NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and with certainty worn by! - an: 'Unteroffizier der Flak-Artillerie-Truppen' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army anti-aircraft unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. slightly worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,5 cms. in length - has the neat white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached: it was, however, clearly 'cut-off a tunic' and misses its tongue. The strap comes in a fully 'text-book' condition and has a 'earthen-brown'- ie. mustard-tan-coloured and/or linnen-based 'upperdeck'. The strap is also 'backed' with field-grey-coloured wool, something that is more often encountered with genuine tropical ie. DAK- (or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-) related shoulderstraps. The strap which shows the mustard-yellow-coloured NCO-braid attached is I deem only moderately worn (it is just somewhat faded ie. slightly stained caused by regular usage) and comes in a truly great condition, overall. It has never been cleaned and still shows some dirt ie. staining as caused by years of storage. The piece originates from a private-household in Germany and was never before in collectors'-hands. The piece was once glued into an album or scrap-book and shows some minimal glue-remains on its back: moreover, does it show an inked numeral ('57') on its back. As most certainly known are most DAK-shoulderboards offered on todays' market copies: this is naturally a fine and 100% genuine, period piece for which I give a life-time garuantee (as always). Simply a superb - and as most certainly known very rarely encountered! - tropical-pattern, 'Heeres-Flak'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
