Neat, WH (Heeres) later- (ie. mid-war-) period- and/or bluish-grey-coloured 'Panzer'-type side-cap-eagle a executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern on a black-coloured background
This is an attractive - and with certainty not that easily encountered! - example of a later- (ie. mid-war-) period, WH (Heeres Panzer) bluish-grey-coloured side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schiffchenadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Panzer-Truppen') as was executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern onto a black-coloured background that was specifically intended for usage on the black-coloured 'Panzer'-side-caps (ie. 'Schiffchenmützen') and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. carefully pre-folded- ie. trimmed but still 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The eagle is executed in bluish-coloured linnen on a black-coloured (and also linnen-based) background. The piece - which is executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave as to be expected - comes in a carefully pre-folded- ie. trimmed condtion and just shows some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage and/or handling but can naturally easily serve to restore any black-coloured 'Panzer-Schiffchen'. It should be noted that excellent reproductions of this type of eagle do exist: this is naturally a fine period, original example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
