This is an attractive - and actually scarcely found! - WH (Heeres) 'Kavallerie'-related item: a semi-official, commemorative-hanger (aka: 'Url' or: luck-bringer) comprising of a (miniature) 'cyphered' shoulderstrap (as was intended for a soldier serving with the cavalry-regiment, numbered: '15') and detailed and neatly chromed miniature stirrup (ie. 'Steigbügel') and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The woolen based shoulderstrap is approximately 6,5 cms. sized in length and is totally executed as its regular-sized counterparts: it came with a tiny 'pebbled-styled' button attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from a German-household where it was recently uncovered. There is not much known about these commemorative 'pieces' but they were most certainly highly desirable 'souvenir'-pieces that were most appreciated by the various troops. In any case is this a very attractive - and without doubt scarcely seen! - 'Kavallerie'-related item!
