Superb - and fairly early-period! - HJ ('Hitlerjugend') related 'tinnie' being a bronze-toned- albeit non-maker-marked example that is showing a HJ-member with flag, HJ-'Raute' and text: 'Banntreffen 33 - Gunzenhausen - 12.-13. Mai 1934'
The attractive golden-bronze-toned day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in copper-coloured- and/or (I deem) tin-based metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice, somewhat tarnished age-patina). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and just shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very truly detailed and retains all of its darker-coloured finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows a young HJ-member holding a swastika-flag with above that the text: 'Unsere Fahne ist mehr als der Tod' and below the text: 'Banntreffen 33 - Gunzenhausen - 12.-13. Mai 1934' and a so-called: HJ-'Raute'. The piece is totally void of a makers'-designation. Simply an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - fairly early-period, 'youth-related' tinnie that is accordingly priced!
