Attractive - truly used- and/or carefully 'cut-out of a tunic'! - WH (Kriegsmarine) golden-yellow-coloured breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler') as executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern onto a darker-blue-coloured background
This is an attractive example of an (I deem) early- (ie. mid-war-) period, WH (Kriegsmarine) golden-yellow-coloured breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Kriegsmarine') as was executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern onto a darker-blue-coloured background that was specifically intended for usage onto the various 'Kriegsmarine-related attire throughout the war and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. truly used- and/or: carefully 'cut-out of a tunic'-), condition. The eagle is executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen onto a darker-blue-coloured (and also linnen-based) background and was carefully 'cut-out of a tunic'. The piece - which was nicely machine-stitched ont a tunic and that is executed in the so-called: 'BeVo'-weave as to be expected - shows some minimal age ie. staining simply caused by decades of storage and/or handling but can naturally easily serve to restore any 'Kriegsmarine'-tunic. Moreover, does it still show the woolen tunic-cloth on its back (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a very nice and truly used naval example!
