The attractive - and fairly luxuriously-styled! - commemorative day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in reddish-bronze-toned- (and - I deem - tin-based) metal: it shows some normal wear and/or moderate age but has never been cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit dirty but has maintained a nice and just minimally tarnished age-patina). The badge has a functional pin-/catch set-up and just shows some minimal age ie. staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' is very detailed and retains almost all of its (somewhat darker-coloured) finish (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece shows an old-styled 'Reichsadler'-device and swastika coupled with the text: 'Tag der Arbeit - Cottbus - 1. Mai 1933'. The somewhat smaller-sized piece comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. catch set-up and was never cleaned nor polished. It bears a clear makers'-designation on the pin-set-up that clearly reads: 'Wurster - Markneukirchen'. Simply an attractive - and actually not often encountered! - early-period- and locally-issued N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is (I deem) accordingly priced!
