Attractive example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: 'Jäger'-armbadge being a neatly machine-embroidered- and/or multi-coloured version as was executed on darker-green-coloured wool
This is an attractive - and I deem just moderately used! - (variant!) example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: 'Jäger'-armbadge being a neatly machine-embroidered- and/or multi-coloured version as was executed on darker-green-coloured wool and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem just moderately used and/or once tunic-attached-), condition. The piece shows an additional 'backing' which is made-out of thin-shaped- and/or bluish-grey-coloured 'cheeseduck' and does show some minimal carton-remains on its back simply caused by having been once glued into a scrapbook or alike (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge on offer here was (I deem) issued and used: it does shows some minimal age, wear and/or staining. These decorative (arm-)badges were worn on the right-upper-sleeve by the troops that were attached to the various 'Jäger'- (ie. rifle- ie. infantry-related-) regiments (being some sort of mid-war-period, infantry-related units). Simply a nice occasion to acquire such a neat - and worn! - 'Heeres-Jäger'-armbadge for a competitive price!
