Attractive - and scarcely seen! - example of a WH (LW) machine-embroidered, trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') having a golden-coloured 'Goldkordel' period-attached as was intended for: 'Horcher' (ie. sound-locator staff)
This is an attractive - and actually quite scarcely seen! - example of a WH (Luftwaffe) machine-embroidered, so-called: trade- ie. special-career-patch (ie. 'Tätigkeitsabzeichen') having a golden-yellow-coloured 'Goldkordel' period-attached as was specifically intended for usage by: 'Horcher' (or: sound-locator staff) and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem simply never used- nor once tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which has the neat 'golden' (ie. golden-yellow) 'cord-like- and braid-based border' (ie. 'Goldkordel') attached - signified that the bearer had a one years'-service in this speciality. The piece is nicely machine-woven on a LW bluish-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows some minimal storage-age only. These badges ranked actually amongst the 'award-category' and came together with an official award-document and had to be properly entered in both 'Soldbuch' and 'Wehrpass'. Simply an attractive - and not that often encountered! - LW-'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
