Attractive - albeit regrettably single! - officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms) as was used by an officer holding the rank of: 'Generalmajor' (ie.: 'SS Brigadeführer')
This is a very attractive - albeit regrettably single! - officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (ie. 'Rangabzeichen für die Tarnuniform') as was specifically intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms by a high-ranked- (ie. general!) officer holding the rank of: 'Generalmajor' (ie.: 'SS Brigadeführer') being a typical, machine-embroidered example as executed on typical smooth-woolen-based material and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The piece - which is of the 'embroidered pattern' as executed in golden-yellow thread - shows a single oakleaf-bar and square-sized rank-bar signifying that it was intended for usage by a general-officer holding the rank of: 'Generalmajor' (ie.: 'SS Brigadeführer'). The piece - which shows an additional black-coloured- and linnen-based backing - is just a tiny bit stained caused by decades of storage but is simply nicely preserved over the years (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) general-officers rank-insignia-bar that is with certainty accordingly priced: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
