Neat, WH (Kriegsmarine) personal-equipment-item: a silver-coloured- and (I deem) nickle-chrome-based flute (ie. 'Bootsmanns-Flöte') that comes mounted onto its original chain and 'attachement-ring'

This is a neat - and not that commonly encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) personal-equipment-item: a bright-silverish-coloured- and (I deem) nickle-chrome-based flute (ie. aka 'Bootsmanns-Flöte') that comes mounted onto its original metal-based chain (and dito 'attachement-ring') and that comes as issued and/or recently found. These flutes were 'standard'-equipment items for all naval non-commissioned-staff (ie. NCOs) and were used during exercises, training as well as during battle at sea. The piece on offer here is totally void of any marking or designation (as more often). The chain - and flute - do show some moderate wear and usage but nothing too shocking. Simply a neat WH Kriegsmarine personal-equipment-item that comes in a nicely preserved condition and that is accordingly priced!
