Superb - and scarcely encountered! - bright-golden-toned WH (Kriegsmarine) eagle-pin as was specifically intended for attachment onto the (white- and/or blue-topped-) KM (NCO- ie. officers'-type visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen')

This is a very attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - example of a WH (Kriegsmarine) eagle-pin (ie. 'Adler für Schirmmützen der Unteroffiziere u. Offiziere der Kriegsmarine') as was specifically intended for attachment onto the (white- and/or blue-topped-) Kriegsmarine (NCO- ie. officers'-type visor-caps (ie. 'Schirmmützen') and that comes in an overall very nice- (and I deem hardly worn nor even used-) condition. The piece on offer here is executed in bright-golden-toned (ie. truly 'frosted'!) metal and still retains a fully preserved (and/or neaty 'feuervergoldeter'-) finish. Most of its high-polished sides (ie. 'hochpolierte Kanten') are also nicely preserved (as can be seen on the pictures). The attractive piece has never been cleaned and comes naturally mounted onto its original, somewhat smaller-sized pin as issued and found. The piece is totally void of a makers'-designation as is more often encountered and was (I deem) just minimally worn. Simply a very attractive - and truly not that easily encountered! - naval replacement-piece that is accordingly priced!
