Superb - albeit regrettably incomplete! - 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' being a typical maker- (ie. 'Juncker'-) marked- and/or silvered 'Feinzink'-based specimen as was produced by the maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'C.E. Juncker - Berlin SW68'
This is an attractive - and actually very scarcely encountered! - example of a so-called: 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' (or: army anti-aircraft war-badge) being a clearly maker- (ie. 'Juncker'-) marked- and/or: silvered 'Feinzink'-based specimen as was produced by the (very desirable!) maker (ie. 'Hersteller') named: 'C.E. Juncker - Berlin SW68' and that comes in an overall nice- (ie. I deem moderately used- and/or worn and as more often regrettably damaged- ie. incomplete-), condition. The badge on offer here concerns a typical-early-war-period, silvered zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based specimen that has a typical, shiny silverish-grey-coloured finish and that has maintained an attractive appearance, still showing pronounced detail as to be expected. The badge has never been cleaned nor polished (and is still also a tiny bit dirty ie. stained- ie. tarnished as mentioned above). The badge comes naturally mounted onto its typically thin-shaped pin but misses its (fragile) catch (which is broken-of as more often: just the horizontally-mounted 'catch-plate' is of course still present as can be seen on the pictures). Moreover, does it show a tiny 'crack' on the upper right side (as can be noticed on the pictures). As stated above, does it deal with a typical by 'Juncker'-produced 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' that naturally shows all the details as to be expected for a badge by this particular maker. Simply a very nice and honest 'Heeres-Flakkampf-Abzeichen' that comes in an overall nice but regrettably incomplete and/or damaged condition: I deem that I have priced this specimen accordingly: a complete and pristine example would easily fetch the double of my asking-price!
