Superb - and scarcely encountered! - early-war-period type (ie. This is an attractive - and actually scarcely encountered! - early-war-period type (ie. I deem around 1940) WH (Heeres) neatly 'BeVo'-woven eagle- and cocarde-insignia-set as was specifically intended for usage on the black-coloured 'Panzer'-beret (ie. 'Panzerschutzmütze') both insignia-pieces coming in an overall very nice- (ie. never beret-attached- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The set is executed in white-coloured machine-stitching onto a black-coloured background (as can be seen on the pictures). Both insignia-pieces come in an overall 'mint- ie. unissued' - ie. non-trimmed- nor folded- condition but do show some minimal storage-age ie. minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures). Both insignia-pieces are just a tiny bit 'wrinkled' and might need some ironing. The set just shows some minor staining simply caused by years of storage only. Moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by having glued into an album or scrapbook once (as can be noticed on the pictures). This neat set originates from a 'Musterbuch' (or: sample-book) that was period-compiled by the producing-company 'Offermann' as was based in the town of Ratingen. Simply an attractive and truly scarcely encountered (early!) 'Panzer'-related insignia-set, which could excellently be used to restore a black-woolen-based 'Panzer'-beret-cover. I deem that this attractive - and scarcely found! - 'Panzer'-insignia-set is accordingly priced!
