I recently uncovered three - very nicely preserved and fully identical! - examples of the WH (Heeres) silver-greyish-coloured and typical zinc- (ie. 'Feinzink'-) based and clearly maker-marked ie. dated (which stamp reads: 'G.B. 41'), so-called: M43-cap-badges (ie. 'Mützenabzeichen') depicting an: 'Edelweiss'-flower as was used by the various 'Gebirgsjäger'- (ie. mountain-troops-) related divisional-staff throughout the war. All three pieces - which are executed in (typical) zinc-based metal and having a separately attached, golden-toned and/or - I deem - 'Buntmetall'-based 'core' - and show the abovementioned makers'-designation (ie. logo) as is more often the case (as can be seen on the pictures). The badges originate from the left-overs of an old tailor-shop and are just a tiny bit stained ie. dusty. My asking-price is naturally intended per single specimen. Simply a great occasion to acquire a 100% original and nicely maker-marked! - 'Gebirgsjäger'-related cap-badge for a competitive price!
