Unusually seen - somewhat smaller-sized! - so-called: D.D.A.C. (ie. 'Der Deutsche Automobil Club'-) related multi-coloured eagle-device as executed in 'BeVo'-weave pattern (that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' condition)
This is an attractive example of a multi-coloured (and unusally somewhat smaller-sized!), TR-period so-called: D.D.A.C. (ie. 'Der Deutsche Automobil Club'-) related multi-coloured eagle-device as was executed in 'BeVo'-weave pattern as was (I deem) intended to be worn on sports-attire (or: even car- or vehicle-flags) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. never used- ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-), condition. The eagle - which is neatly woven in the so-called: 'BeVo'-type weave-technique and that measures approximately 8 x 6,8 cms. - comes as 'straightly cut-off the role' (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was never used nor attached but does show some minimal age ie. staining (simply caused by decades of storage only). Most of these attractive D.D.A.C.-related eagle-devices offered on todays market are regrettably modern copies woven in nylon-based thread: the piece on offer here is naturally a fine period example executed in linnen-based thread. Moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by having glued into an album or scrapbook once (as can be noticed on the pictures). This example originates from a 'Musterbuch' (or: sample-book) that was period-compiled by the producing-company 'Offermann' as was based in the town of Ratingen. Simply an attractive example that will be very hard to be upgraded!
