This is an attractive, later- (ie. mid-war-) period, WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-type breast-eagle (ie. 'Brustadler für Panzertruppen') as was specifically intended for usage on the black-coloured 'wrap-around'- tunics being a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued' example as was executed in bluish-grey-coloured linnen on a black-coloured background and that comes in a wonderful and/or fully unconfectioned, condition. The piece was naturally never trimmed- nor pre-folded and just shows some slight staining, simply caused by decades of storage only. The eagle comes as 'straightly cut-of the role' and can naturally easily serve to restore any black-woolen Panzer 'wrap-around'-tunic. Moreover, does it show some minimal glue-remains on its back simply caused by having glued into an album or scrapbook once (as can be noticed on the pictures). This example originates from a 'Musterbuch' (or: sample-book) that was period-compiled by the producing-company 'Offermann' as was based in the town of Ratingen. I deem that this attractive WH (Heeres) 'Panzer'-related breast-eagle is accordingly priced!
