Superb - and only moderately used! - bronze-toned so-called: 'RADwJ' (or: womens' labour-service) service-badge (or: 'Dienstbrosche') as intended for an: 'Arbeitsmaid'
This is a neat, darkened bronze-coloured- and I deem typical zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based, so-called: 'RADwJ' (or: womens' labour-service) service-badge (or: 'Dienstbrosche') as was intended for an: 'Arbeitsmaid' and that comes in an overall overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn-), condition. The brooch - having a diameter of approximately 4 cms. - has very pronounced detail and comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin-back set-up. The badge has a truly nice, somewhat 'matted' age-patina and has - I deem - never been cleaned nor polished. The piece shows a clear makers'-designation (ie. logo) and date: '41' on its back as can be seen on the pictures. A similar piece is also figured in the: 'Heering-Hüsken Abzeichenkatalog' wherein it is given a unique reference-number (ie. '3806B') and given an estimated value of 90 Eu. Simply a neat 'RADwJ Dienstbrosche' as was intended for - and truly worn by! - an: 'Arbeitsmaid'!
