Attractive, golden-bronze-toned N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' (ie. 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') showing an illustration of a towns'-view, sun-burst and text: 'Ortsgruppe der N.S.D.A.P. - Sommerhausen - 10 Jähriges Bestehungsfest - 9.-10.-5-1934'
I recently uncovered four - attractive and fully identical! - examples of a golden-bronze-toned N.S.D.A.P.-related 'tinnie' (ie. day-badge or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') being all four non-maker-marked examples each showing an illustration of a towns'-view and sun-burst (with swastika) coupled with the text: 'Ortsgruppe der N.S.D.A.P. - Sommerhausen - 10 Jähriges Bestehungsfest - 9.-10.-5-1934' and that come all four in a wonderful- (and simply never issued- ie. 'virtually mint'-), condition. The attractive shield-shaped day-badges are executed in golden-bronze-coloured (and I deem coppered-zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based) metal: they were simply never cleaned and retain all a fully preserved golden-bronze finish. The day-badges come naturally mounted onto their functional pin and just show some minimal storage-age ie. staining only (as can be seen on the pictures). The pieces show a detailed illustration of a a towns'-view and sun-burst (with swastika) coupled with the text: 'Ortsgruppe der N.S.D.A.P. - Sommerhausen - 10 Jähriges Bestehungsfest - 9.-10.-5-1934' (as can be noticed on the pictures). The pin-set-up on the badges is of course also present and is fully functional. It should be noted that all 'tinnies' that were intended to commemorate an event at regional- (ie. 'town'- ie. 'Kreis'-) level (such as the pieces on offer here) saw much more limited usage and can easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. My asking-price is naturally intended per single specimen. Simply an attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - so-called: 'N.S.D.A.P.-Veranstaltungsabzeichen' that is offered by me for a competitive price!
