This is an attractive - and with certainty very rarely encountered! - example of the HJ/BDM- ('Hitlerjugend' ie. 'Bund Deutscher Mädel'-) related cuff-title (ie. 'Ärmelstreifen') entitled: 'BDM-Osteinsatz' (or: BDM eastern-action) being an example as executed in the neat 'BeVo'-weave pattern and that comes in a just minimally used- (and I deem clearly tunic-removed!), condition. The cuff-title - which comes in a (I deem) non-shortened- ie. full-length condition and measures now approximately: 39,5 cms. in length - is woven in greyish-white-coloured linnen on a golden-brownish-coloured- (and/also linnen based) background. These rarely encountered BDM-cuff-titles were worn on the lower left sleeves and were awarded to BDM-members who served as volunteers in the occupied Eastern-Territories. The piece is (I deem) clearly tunic-removed and shows some minor age, wear and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece is also a tiny bit wrinkled and/or stained and shows the obvious signs of having been once tunic-attached. Simply a very rare encountered and desirable youth-related cuff-title which is with certainty not that often offered for sale!
