Attractive - clearly used albeit regrettably single! - officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (for usage on the camouflaged-uniforms) as used by an officer holding the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie.: 'SS Untersturmführer')
This is a very attractive - clearly used- and/or carefully tunic-removed albeit regrettably single! - officers'-pattern, WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar (ie. 'Rangabzeichen für die Tarnuniform') as was intended for usage on the various camouflaged-uniforms by a junior-ranked officer holding the rank of 'Leutnant' (ie.: 'SS Untersturmführer') being a typical, printed example as executed on typical silk-like material (ie. 'Kunstseide') and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. cleary used- ie. worn-), condition. The piece - which is of the 'printed pattern' as executed in black on a bright-green-coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type, linnen-based background - shows a single oakleaf-bar and square-sized rank-bar signifying that it was intended for usage by a junior-officer with the rank of: 'Leutnant' (ie.: 'SS Untersturmführer'). The piece is just a tiny bit stained caused by moderate wear and/or decades of storage but is simply nicely preserved over the years: it was once stitched onto a tunic by means of a machine (as can be seen on the pictures). Simply an attractive - and actually not that often encountered! - truly used. WH (Heeres o. Waffen-SS) rank-insignia-bar that is with certainty accordingly priced: too bad that it is only a single specimen!
