Unusual, silverish-toned 'TR'-period commemorative-award-plaque depicting a kneeling woman and entitled: 'Thüringsche Hauptland-Wirtschafts-Kammer' and that comes stored in its period- and 'Carl Poellath'-marked etui
This is an unusual - typical silverish-toned, zinc- ie. 'Feinzink'-based and presumably 'TR'-period - commemorative-award-plaque (ie. 'nichttragbare Plakette') showing a detailed illustration of a kneeling woman and entitled on its back: 'Thüringsche Hauptland-Wirtschafts-Kammer' and that comes stored in its wine-red-coloured, period- and neatly maker- (ie. 'Carl Poellath - Schrobenhausen'-) marked etui as issued and/or stored for decades. The table-medal - that was apparently awarded for outstanding achievement by the chamber of commerce in the Thüringen-province - comes stored in its period etui (ie. 'Verleihungsetui'). The neat - medium-sized- and regular-weight-piece - has an approximate diameter of 4,5 cms. and has very pronounced detail as to be expected. It was most certainly never cleaned nor polished and has maintained a neat (somewhat matted- ie. frosted-) silverish-toned age-patina (as can be seen on the pictures). The wine-red-coloured (and square-shaped) etui - comes in an equally nicely preserved condition and is void of any logo or text on its top (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece originates from a private-household in Germany where it was recently uncovered as issued and stored for decades. Simply a neat, complete - and with certainty unusually encountered! - table-medal ie. 'Erinnerungs- o. nichttragbare Medaille' that is with certainty accordingly priced!
