Superb - and matching! - pair of early- (ie. pre-) war-period WH (Heeres) 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) pattern (rounded-style) 'cyphered', EM-type shoulderstraps as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied eines Panzer-Jäger-Rgts. o. Abtlgs.' Superb - and matching! - pair of early- (ie. pre-) war-period WH (Heeres) 'M36'- (ie. This is an attractive - matching and as such actually rarely encountered! - pair of early- (ie. pre-war-) period WH (Heeres), 'M36'- (ie. 'M40'-) type (rounded-style) and neatly 'cyphered', enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps as piped in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was intended for - and with certainty worn by! - a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied eines Panzer-Jäger-Regiments o. Abteilungs' (or: simple soldier who served within a specific, anti-tank- ie. tank-destroyer unit ie. regiment) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used and/or worn-), condition. The neat shoulderstraps have the darker-green-coloured and (smooth) woolen-based 'upperdecks' as to be expected and show the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured and/or woolen-type piping attached (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps never had a tongue attached and were with certainty worn as a pair of the 'sew-in'-pattern: they were clearly 'cut-of a tunic'. The straps measure approximately 11 cms. in length each and show the neat (machine-embroidered by means of so-called: 'Kurbelstickerei'), Gothic-styled: 'P'-cypher (or: 'Ziffer') attached which are both executed in the bright-pink- (ie. 'rosaroter'-) coloured wool ie. linnen as to be expected. (I deem that these straps once also showed a machine-embroidered numeral: this was, however, period-removed as per regulation). The straps do show some moderate age and/or wear (some minor staining and/or dust is visible-and/or present). It should be noted that all 'cyphered'-type shoulderstraps can be easily regarded 'scarce'. Simply an attractive and/or early- (ie. pre-) war period, neatly 'cyphered Heeres'-related shoulderstrap-pair as was intended for a: 'Soldat u. Mitglied eines Panzer-Jäger-Regiments' that comes not that often for sale!
