The neat strap - which regrettably misses its tongue and that was 'clearly cut-of a tunic' as is more often encountered - has the desirable bright-red- (ie. 'hochroter'-) coloured- and/or: 'silk-like'-type piping attached, denoting that it was intended for a soldier that served within the: 'Waffen-SS (Sturm)Artillerie-Truppen' (or: artillery-troops). The back of the strap (which measures 11 cms. in length as is more often encountered) is executed in field-grey-coloured wool, as is more often observed with genuine Waffen-SS-type shoulderstraps. The piece shows some minimal age, wear and/or minimal staining but comes in an overall nice (and I deem only moderately used- ie. worn-) condition. Simply an attractive and/or fully textbook 'Waffen-SS-(Sturm)Artillerie-'-shoulderstrap: too bad that it is only a single piece!
