Neat - and fully matching! - pair of early- (ie. mid-) war-period so-called: 'M40 o. M43'-pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour as intended for an: 'Uffz. der Pionier-Truppen'
The attractive - fully 'text-book' and in all respects matching! - pair of 'standard-issued'- (ie. 'non-privately-purchased'!) pattern, WH (Heeres) NCO-type shoulderstraps is piped in the desirable black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured branchcolour and measures approximately 10,5 cms. in length each. The straps have the desirable black- (ie. 'schwarzer'-) coloured- and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more often encountered with these early- ie. mid-war-period shoulderstrap-pairs) and was as such intended for usage by an: 'Unteroffizier der Pionier-Truppen' (or: junior-sergeant who served within an army-enigineers-unit). The shoulderstraps – that show the 'standard'-pattern, silver-toned NCO-braid attached - are typical 'standard-issued'-examples that have the field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based 'upperdecks': they were - I deem - just moderately used ie. worn and do show some minimal wear, age and/or staining (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. These desirable 'M40- o. 43'-pattern, army-engineers-related NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the 'schwarzer'-coloured branchcolour can nowadays easily be graded 'fairly scarce'. Simply an attractive - and fully matching! - shoulderstrap-pair that belonged an: 'Unteroffizier der Pionier-Truppen'!
