The attractive - and with certainty unusually seen! - WH (Heeres) shoulderstrap does show the desirable white- (ie. 'weisser'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measures approximately 10,5 cms. in length and is clearly of the so-called: 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44 o. M45'-) pattern. The shoulderstrap is constructed from the (typical) field-grey-toned, later-war-type wool and comes naturally mounted onto its truly simplified tongue (which is constructed from a piece of greyish-coloured braid-like-linnen (as can be noticed on the pictures). The strap shows clear usage and/or moderate wear ie. age and was clearly used and/or worn as such. It should be noted that these white-piped- (thus 'Infanterie'-related) and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44- o. M45'-pattern-) enlisted-mens'-type shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce' even more so when they come in a moderately used- and/or truly worn condition as the strap on offer here!
