Commemorative, copper-toned- and zinc-based, SA-related 'tinnie', being a maker- (ie. 'Klotz u. Kienast'-) marked example depicting an 'Edelweiss'-flower, sword and SA-logo surrounded by the text: 'SA-Gruppe Hochland - SA-Gruppenwettkämpfe 1939'
The truly attractive - and fairly high-quality produced! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in copper-bronze-toned- and I deem zinc-based metal that depicts an 'Edelweiss'-flower, sword and SA-logo surrounded by the text: 'SA-Gruppe Hochland - SA-Gruppenwettkämpfe 1939' and was as such intended for an SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related gathering or rally held in the year 1939. The circular-shaped badge (having an approximate diameter of 5 cms.) - shows some normal wear and/or moderate age and comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin-/catch set-up and has (I deem) never been cleaned nor polished: it shows some minimal staining (as can be seen on the pictures) but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. Next to the makers'-designation: 'Klotz u. Kienast' does it also shows an: 'RzM - M9/3'-marking (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'tinnie' retains most of its (fairly shiny) golden-bronze-coloured finish. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive SA-related- (and with certainty scarcely encountered!) so-called: 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for an interesting price!
