Superb - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless very rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) 'tropical'- (ie. truly 'DAK'-related!) NCO-type shoulderstrap as was intended for usage by an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Feldgendarmerie-Truppen'

This is a truly attractive - albeit regrettably single but nevertheless truly rarely encountered! - WH (Heeres) 'tropical'- (ie. I deem truly DAK- or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-related) NCO-type shoulderstrap as piped in the neat bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for - and with certainty worn by! - an: 'Oberfeldwebel der Feldgendarmerie-Truppen' (or: NCO and sergeant first-class who served within an army field-police unit) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. carefully tunic-removed-), condition. The neat shoulderstrap - which measures approximately 11,2 cms. in length - has the neat bright-orange- (ie. 'orangeroter'-) coloured and/or desirable 'silk-like'-type piping attached but misses its tongue (which was clearly cut-off as can be seen on the pictures). The strap comes in a fully 'text-book' condition and has a (typical) 'earthen-brown'- ie. tan-coloured and/or linnen-based 'upperdeck'. The board is also 'backed' with field-grey-coloured wool, something that is more often encountered with genuine tropical ie. DAK- (or 'Deutsches Afrikakorps'-) related shoulderstraps. The strap - which shows the mustard-yellow-coloured- ie. tropical NCO-braid and two (regular-sized- and aluminium-based) pips period-attached - was (I deem) only moderately worn (it is just somewhat faded ie. slightly stained caused by regular usage) and comes in a truly great condition overall. It has never been cleaned and still shows some dirt ie. staining as caused by years of storage. As most certainly known are most DAK-shoulderboards offered on todays' market copies: this is naturally a fine and 100% genuine, period piece for which I give a life-time garuantee (as always). Simply a superb - and as most certainly known very rarely encountered! - tropical-pattern, 'Felgendarmerie'-related NCO-type shoulderstrap: too bad that it is only a single piece!
