Attractive, Polizei (ie. police) silver-coloured- and/or aluminium-based EM/NCO-pattern belt-buckle that comes mounted onto its brown-coloured- and/or: leather-based tab and that is neatly marker- (ie. 'E. Schneider'-) marked and/or dated: '1938'
The attractive - and typical 'molded-style' ie. aluminium-based - Polizei- (ie. police-) type buckle on offer here was (I deem) just minimally used and/or worn: it still retains very pronounced detail and will be hard to be upgraded (as can be seen on the pictures). The inside of the buckle - that also shows the makers'-designation ie. logo 'E.S.L.') as more often - shows some dust and/or staining simply caused by more than 80 years of storage. The (light)brown-coloured - and typically 'broader-shaped'! - tab - which shows a clearly impressed stamp (that reads: 'E. Schneider - Lüdenscheid - 1938') is naturally fully functional and souple and comes in an equally very nicely preserved condition (it was presumably not recently greased nor oiled). It should be noted that a 'standard-issue-pattern', aluminium 'Polizei'-buckle in this overall very nice and untouched condition can nowadays easily be graded: 'scarce'. This buckle orginates from an older belt-buckle-collection that was compiled over many years and that I recently acquired for the web-site. Simply a nicely preserved and fully untouched Polizei-example that is I deem accordingly priced!
