Superb - and fully matching! - pair of later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern, simplified WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps as was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen'
This is a very attractive - fully matching and actually scarcely encountered! - pair of later-war-period, so-called: 'M44'-pattern, 'simplified' WH (Luftwaffe) NCO-type shoulderstraps as piped in the golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen' (or: sergeant who served within the pilots'- or paratroopers'-branch) and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem only moderately used- and/or worn-), condition. The neat, somewhat smaller-sized shoulderstraps - which measure approximately 9,6 cms. in length each as more often seen - have the neat, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured and/or 'silk-like'-type piping attached (as is more encountered with these later-war-period shoulderstraps). The shoulderstraps are constructed following the typical '1944 cloth-minimising production-manner', using different shades of wool and/or material (as can be seen on the pictures). The straps have the 'standard'-issue- (ie. LW-pattern, silverish-coloured) NCO-braid and a single (aluminium-based) pip period-attached and come naturally mounted onto their functional tongues. It should be noted that all 'M44'-pattern-, NCO-type straps are actually quite hard to find and can easily be graded 'scarce': even more so when they are piped in the desirable, golden-yellow- (ie. 'goldgelbener'-) coloured branchcolour. Simply an attractive - and/or fully 'text-book', M44-pattern NCO-type 'Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen'-pair that was intended for usage by a: 'Feldwebel der Flieger o. Fallschirm-Truppen'!
