Attractive - and actually scarcely seen! - 12-pieced series (complete with 'Hülle') comprising of 12 period postcards originating from the series: 'Voluntarios españoles en el invierno ruso' (or: 'Spaniens Freiwillige im russichen Winter')

This is an attractive - and actually scarcely seen! - 12-pieced postcard-set that comes complete with its period 'Hülle' (ie. period folder) and that is comprising of twelve black-and-white-toned postcards originating from the series (numbered: 'II') and entitled: 'Voluntarios españoles en el invierno ruso' (or: 'Spaniens Freiwillige im russichen Winter') and that come all twelve in an overall very nice- (and simply never sent- nor used-), condition. This attractive (Spanish-issued) series (entitled: 'Spaniens Freiwillige im russichen Winter') was I deem issued around 1941/42 in order to promote the 'Spanish Blue Division' (ie. Division Azul) on the Eastern Front and show various scenes of its members active in Russia. The decorative cards - which are all sized 15 x 11 cms. as usual and that show a bi-lingual description on their backs - come in an overall very nice and totally unissued condition and originate from an old postcard-collection that was period-compiled: they are all 12 void of any writing but do show some minimal staining and/or storage-age (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply an attractive, period photo-postcard-set dealing with the Spanish volunteers that is with certainty accordingly priced and would look great if properly framed together!
