Superb - fully matching and scarcely encountered! - pair of WH (Heeres) later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. The truly attractive - and with certainty very scarcely seen! - WH (Heeres) shoulderstraps show the desirable darker-green- (ie. 'grüner'-) coloured and/or: typical 'silk-like'-type piping attached and measure approximately 12 cms. in length each and are clearly of the so-called: simplified- ie. 'last-ditch'- (ie. 'M44/M45'-) pattern. The neat shoulderstraps are matching in all details and are constructed from the (field-grey-toned- and/or quite roughly-executed) so-called: later-war-type wool (aka: 'drap Orti') and do show the somewhat 'roughly-executed' button-holes (which is more often seen with these later-war pieces as can be seen on pictures). The straps come naturally mounted onto their simplified tongues and do show some minimal usage and/or wear (as can be seen on the pictures). It should be noted that these matching pairs of green-piped- thus 'Jäger'- ie. 'Gebirgsjäger'-related and/or later-war period- (ie. 'simplified'- ie. 'M44/M45'-pattern-) enlisted-mens-type shoulderstraps are very desirable and can easily be graded 'scarce'! I am convinced that this attractive pair is accordingly priced!
