This is a neat - and unusually somewhat larger-sized! - example of a five-pieced, WWII-period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Feld- o. Bandspange') respectively showing the ribbons for a: 'Kriegsverdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit Schwertern' (or: War Merits' Cross second class with swords), a: 'Deutsches Schutzwall Ehrenzeichen' (aka: 'Westwall'-medal), a: WH (Heeres o. Kriegsmarine) 'Dienstauszeichnung für 4 Jahre Treue Dienste' (or: service-award for 4-years of loyal-service), a: Bulgarian WWII-period, commemorative-medal called: 'Medal of Merit 4th Class' (being of the 2nd grade with swords aka: 'Za Chabrost' (or: 'For Bravery') and a: 'Deutsch-Italienische Feldzugsmedaille' (or: German-Italian campaign medal). The 'Bandspange' comes in an overall very nice- (albeit used and/or moderately worn-), condition. The - detailed! - devices have a neat and/or minimally 'frosted' albeit detailed appearance: they retain all three a nice and/or minimally tarnished age-patina. The piece - with shows all five bars in the 'standard'- ie. smaller (1,5 cm. wide-) version and that is confectioned in a 'regular manner' - is fully functional and comes mounted onto its functional pin- and/or catch set-up: the piece is not 'backed' with a piece of wool but comes mounted onto a metal-based 'backing-plate' as is more often seen. Simply an attractive WWII-period, 5-pieced 'Feld- o. Bandspange': ideal to upgrade or decorate almost any TR-related tunic!
