Commemorative, hollow-back- and/or silverish-grey-toned, so-called: SA- (ie. 'Sturmabteilungen'-) related day-badge (ie. 'tinnie') being a non-maker-marked example showing the text: 'SA-Treffen Braunschweig - 17./18. Oktober 1931'
The very attractive - and actually not that easily found! - day-badge (ie. 'tinnie' or: 'Veranstaltungsabzeichen') is executed in silverish-grey, zinc-based metal (ie. pot-metal) and depicts a larger-sized eagle-device with swastika surrounded by oakleaves and showing the text: 'SA-Treffen Braunschweig - 17./18. October 1931' and was as such intended for a specific SA-related gathering that took place in October 1931. The 'hollow-back'-pattern badge comes naturally mounted onto its functional pin- ie. pin/catch set-up and was (I deem) never cleaned nor polished: it just shows some minimal staining but is still very detailed and/or pronounced. The 'tinnie' - which is void of a makers'-designation as more often - truly retains all of its (typical, somewhat tarnished) silverish-coloured finish. Simply a great occasion to acquire an attractive - and not that easily encountered! - fairly early-period, so-called: SA-related 'Tagungs- o. Veranstaltungsabzeichen' for a justified price!
