Attractive, silver-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten Abzeichen in Silber') being a nicely maker- (ie. '107'-) marked example (as was produced by the desirable 'Hersteller' ie. maker: 'Carl Wild')
This is a neat - albeit moderately used- and/or worn - example of a silver-class wound-badge (or: 'Verwundeten Abzeichen in Silber') which is nicely maker-marked on its back (as more often) with the superimposed makers'-designation: '107' (signifying that it is a piece that was produced by the company: 'Carl Wild' as based in the town of Hamburg) and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used ie. worn-), condition. The badge - which is executed in (typical) silverish-grey-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based metal (ie. 'Feinzink') - shows some obvious - albeit wear ie. age and has a correct - and/or fully functional! - (semi-sunken!) pin- and/or catch (-set-up) in place. The badge has, however, never been cleaned and shows evident tarnish and/or wear: it has lost, however, most of its silver-toned finish as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). Still an attractive and nicely maker-marked silver-class WB that is with certainty accordingly priced!
