This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - neatly silverish-golden-toned cap-badge (ie. 'Hutabzeichen') as was specifically intended for usage by a female member who served within the: 'Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend' (or: RADwJ) and that comes in an overall very nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn- ie. carefully cap-removed-), condition. The neat badge - which has an approximate height of 4 cms. - shows a swastika-sign with below that two corn-leaves as to be expected. The piece - which is executed in (I deem) aluminium-based metal is a tiny bit dirty but was most certainly never cleaned ie. polished. The cap-badge comes mounted onto both its (still functional and I deem also aluminium-based) prongs and shows some regular wear and age but has no damage whatsoever. The piece is neatly marked and shows a: 'R.S.& S.-makers'-mark- (and typical 'Ges.Gesch.'-patent-pending-) designation: moreover, is is nicely dated: '1939' (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a nice and decorative, female-related 'RADwJ Hutabzeichen' that is not that often seen and that is with certainty accordingly priced!
