Neat - albeit damaged! - 'Reichsarbeitsdienst der weiblichen Jugend' (or: RADwJ ie.: Womens Labour Service) so-called: 'Brosche für Maidenführerin' being a bright-silver-toned- and/or non-maker-marked example
The neat - and actually not that easily found but regrettably incomplete ie. damaged - 'RADwJ-Brosche für Maidenführerin' (or: RADwJ-membership-brooch for senior officials ie. leaders) has an approximate diameter of 4,5 cms. and still retains pronounced detail: it comes, however, mounted onto its (incomplete) pin-set-up (as can be seen on the pictures). The brooch - which is a regular-weight version as was executed in bright, silver-toned metal (ie. I deem steel) - is as stated above a non-maker-marked example that was (I deem) just moderately worn: it was presumably cleaned ie. polished and retains a shiny age-patina, showing some normal age and/or staining. A similar 'brooch' is also figured in the Heering-Hüsken-'Abzeichen'-catalogue, wherein it is given a unique reference-number (3806F) and given an estimated value of 180 Eu. I deem that this attractive RADwJ-brooch is priced according to its incomplete condition.
