This is a nice - and I deem truly used- and/or tunic-removed! - example of a 'standard-issue'-type, darker-green-coloured (Kriegsmarine o. Küstenartillerie) rank-chevron (or: 'Armwinkel') as was specifically intended for usage on the various field-grey-coloured navy (ie. 'Küstenmarine- o. Küstenartillerie') tunics as intended for an: 'Matrose' (or: 'Hauptefreiter') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit moderately used- ie. worn- and somewhat moth-damaged), condition. The rank-chevron is executed on typical darker-green-coloured and/or woolen-based cloth and shows a single stripe of the neatlty twisted, golden-yellow-coloured and also linnen-based naval NCO-braid and a (nicely hand-embroidered and equally golden-yellow-toned!) pip attached. The piece shows some age-, wear and/or staining and shows some (minimal) moth-damage (as can be noticed on the pictures). Simply a nice occasion to obtain a truly used - and actually not that often seen! - WH (Kriegsmarine o. Küstenartillerie) rank-chevron for a competitive price!
