Superb - and actually scarcely encountered! - WH (KM) neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as intended for usage by a: 'Küstenartillerie'-staff-member

This is an attractive - and actually truly scarcely encountered! - WH (Kriegsmarine) neatly machine-embroidered, so-called: career- ie. specialist-armbadge (ie. 'Tätigkeits-Abzeichen') as executed on field-grey-coloured wool as was specifically intended for usage by a: 'Küstenartillerie'-staff-member and that comes in an overall very nice- (ie. I deem probably issued- albeit simply never used- nor tunic-attached-), condition. The badge - which was to be mounted on the upper-arm-regions of the various field-grey-coloured, naval 'Küstenartillerie'-tunics - depicts a detailed 'winged-shell'-device (as can be seen on the pictures). The badge - of which the 'official' TR-period description reads: 'Küstenmarine-Personal' is executed in bright-red-coloured linnen on a field-grey-coloured and/or typical, woolen-based background. The piece does show extraordinary craftmenship and is additonally backed with a piece of greyish-toned linnen as more often (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece just shows some minimal age ie. staining caused by decades of storage only. It sounds maybe strange but all WH (Kriegsmarine) career- ie. specialist-armbadges as specifically related to the various 'KM-Küstenartillerie'-units are truly very hard to encounter and can easily be graded 'very scarce'. Simply a very attractive example that is with certainty accordingly priced!
