Attractive - and typical zinc-based - WH (Luftwaffe) related ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') bearing the stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Kfz.Werkst.Komp.der Lw.VII 107' and that comes mounted onto its period cord as issued & worn
This is an attractive example of a greyish-coloured- and/or typical zinc-based, WH (Luftwaffe-) 'standard-issue pattern'- and I deem somewhat later-war-period, ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the (clearly!) stamped unit-designation that simply reads: 'Kfz.Werkst.Komp.der Lw.VII 107' (and as such being a disc that was - I deem- intended for a soldier or NCO who served within a specific 'Kraftfahrzeug-Werkstatt-Kompanie der Luftwaffe VII107') (ie.: staff-member and airforce vehicle-mechanic who served in a LW-unit numbered: 'VII-107') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn- and/or minimally stained-), condition. The attractive disc is in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (see pictures). The disc is void of a bearers'-blood-group-type something that is more often the case. The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty) and comes still mounted onto its period cord as issued and/or worn. The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Luftwaffe) related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
