This is a truly very attactive example of a (pre)WWI-period so-called: 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz 2. Klasse mit der Krone und Schwertern' being a very nicely preserved example that came still packed in its period piece of thin-shaped 'wrapping-paper' as found and that comes in an overall very nicely preserved- (and I deem simply never used- nor worn-), condition. The attractive (and truly bright-reddish-bronze-coloured- ie. 'frosted-style'-) award is a nicely preserved example that retains all of its copper-toned finish ie. surface (as can be seen on the pictures). It came, however, without ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt'). I deem that I have priced this very attractive 'Bayern Militär-Verdienstkreuz'-medal-set accordingly!
