Superb - silver-toned- and nicely enamelled - Bulgarian, military-cross: 'For Bravery' (or: in Bulgarian- ie. Cyrilic language: 'Ordena Za Hrabrost') being a neat and/or detailed example of (I deem) the 4th Class
These neat - silver-toned and nicely enemalled - Bulgarian military-crosses: 'For Bravery' (or: in Bulgarian language: 'Ordena Za Hrabrost') were awarded to higher-ranked officers and/or NCOs for exceptional actions in the face of remarkable danger. The example on offer here is a specimen of (I deem) the fourth class (ie. Knights-Cross) of this award (something that can be deducted from the presence of the seperately-attached crown (as can be seen on th the pictures). The piece came mounted onto its nicely confectioned- (ie. pre-folded-) piece of period (ie. Austrian-styled) ribbon (ie. 'Bandabschnitt') and was nicely preserved overall: it was never polished nor cleaned and is still a tiny bit dirty but very detailed. It retains a neat, somewhat shiny silver-toned finish and does show a tiny chipped-area in the white circle (as can be seen on the pictures). The piece was recently found at a private-household and was uncovered amongst some other belongings of a German officer. Simply a very decorative Bulgarian fairly high-classed military-cross of the fourth class: 'For Bravery' that is I deem accordingly priced!
