This is a neat example of a WH (Kriegsmarine ie. 'Küsten-Marine o. Marine-Artillerie') side-cap-eagle (ie. 'Schiffchen-Adler für Mannschaften u. Unteroffiziere der Kriegsmarine o. Marine-Artillerie') as executed in golden-yellow-coloured linnen on a field-grey-coloured background) and that comes in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued', condition. The piece is executed in golden- (ie. bright-yellow-) coloured linnen on a typical field-grey-coloured (and also linnen-based) background and is a typical example of the fantastic 'BeVo-weave'-technique as used in the days. The piece has naturally never been trimmed- nor pre-folded and just shows some slight staining, simply caused by decades of storage only. The eagle comes as 'straightly cut-of the role' and can naturally easily serve to restore or complete any naval- (ie. 'Küsten-Artillerie') side-cap ie. 'Schiffchen'.
