This is an attractive - and truly rarely encountered! - neatly hand-embroidered 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related sleeve-diamond (ie.: 'Ärmelraute') entitled: 'AO' as was specifically worn by the members serving within the: 'N.S.D.A.P.-Auslandorganisation' and that comes in a very nice (ie. 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-) condition. The piece which was (I deem) simply never worn nor issued (and that does not show any oxidation nor damage or alike) is executed in the neat darker-brown-coloured- and/or velvet-type wool and shows the hand-embroidered- and/or: golden-yellow-coloured 'AO'-characters (as executed in so-called: 'Cellueon'-type braid) as to be expected: the shown craftmanship on the hand-embroidery is really stunning and/or truly pronounced. The piece - which is neatly 'backed' with the brownish-coloured 'buckram'-based material and that is 'piped' with typical twisted, golden-yellow-coloured braid as to be expected - comes as stated above in a 'virtually mint- ie. unissued'-) condition. I deem that it never had an 'RzM'-etiket attached (something that I have seen before). I deal with an 'official'- and/or German-produced specimen that was worn by the 'foreign' ie. political 'N.S.D.A.P.'-formations in the various occupied coutries. Simply a very attractive and rarely seen piece of 'N.S.D.A.P.'-related cloth-insignia that simply cannot be upgraded: only the third such rarely found 'AO-Ärmelraute I ever had on offer!
