This is an attractive example of a greyish-coloured- (and/or typical zinc-based), WH (Luftwaffe) ie. 'LW-Flak-Artillerie'-related, 'standard-issue pattern'- and (I deem) somewhat later-war-period, ID-disc (ie. 'Erkennungsmarke') that is bearing the (clearly!) stamped unit-designation that simply reads: '4./Schw.Flak-Abt. 623' (and as such being a disc that was I deem intended for a soldier or NCO who served within fourth company of the: 'Schwere-Flak-Artillerie-Abteilung 623' (ie.: heavy, anti-aircraft artillery unit, numbered: '623') and that comes in an overall nice- (albeit clearly used ie. worn- and/or minimally stained-), condition. The attractive disc is in overall nice condition (and is executed in an attractive letter-type!) and shows the clear evidence of having been used ie. worn (see pictures). The disc shows the stamped bearers'-blood-group-type (Type B) (something that is more often observed). The disc was never cleaned nor polished (it is still a bit stained and/or dirty). The disc originates from a larger ID-disc collection that was compiled over many years. Simply an attractive and honest WH (Luftwaffe-) ie. 'Flak-Artillerie'-related ID-disc that is with certainty accordingly priced!
