This is a neat example of a WH (Heeres) so-called: trade- and/or special-career arm-insignia (ie. 'Laufbahn- o. Tätigkeitsabzeichen') as was specifically intended for an army: 'Feuerwerker' (or: artician NCO) being a neatly machine-embroidered variant as executed on field-grey-coloured wool and that comes in an overall very nice- (I deem clearly worn ie. once tunic-attached-), condition. The piece is neatly machine-embroidered on a field-grey-coloured- and/or woolen-based background and shows a (detailed and/or machine-embroidered, Gothic-styled) 'F'-character as executed in bright-yellow-coloured linnen (as can be seen on the pictures). The patch shows a black-coloured and linnen-based 'backing' but is void of a makers'-designation-stamp (as is more often encountered). Simply a nice occasion to acquire an attractive - and truly used and tunic-removed! - WH (Heeres) trade-/specialist-badge for a competitive price!
