Three-pieced, WWI- (ie. TR-) period medal-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') showing the ribbons for a WWI-period: 'EK II. Kl.', a: 'FKK m. Schw.' and a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen der 2. Klasse' (with attached miniature device)
I recently uncovered three (fully identical!) examples of a three-pieced, WWI- (ie. TR-) period ribbon-bar (ie. 'Band- o. Feldspange') showing respectively the ribbons for a WWI-period: 'Eisernes Kreuz II. Klasse' (or: iron cross 2nd class), a: WWI-period: 'Frontkämpferkreuz 1914-18' (ie.: 'Kriegsteilnehmerkreuz 1914-18 mit Schwerter') and a: 'Treuedienst Ehrenzeichen der 2. Klasse' (or: silver-class, loyal-service-medal for 25 yrs. of loyal civil-service) that comes with its neat (silver-toned) miniature-device attached and that come all three in an overall very nice- (ie. simply never used- nor worn-), condition. All three ribbons are of the regular ribbon-bar-size and measure approximately 1,5 cms. each as more often encountered (the 'Bandspange' has a total length of approximately 4,5 cms. (as can be seen on the pictures). The 'Spangen' come in a very nice condition overall and are of course fully functional: they are neatly 'backed' with a piece of black-coloured wool (as can be seen on the pictures). The pieces retain their functional pin-/catch-attachment (see pictures). The detailed- and firmly attached 'Treue Dienst Ehrenzeichen'-devices show some minimal age ie. tarnish but are all three been nicely preserved. My asking-price is naturally intended for a single example. Simply a nice occasion to acquire a neat 3-pieced, WWI- (ie. Third Reich-) period 'Band-/Feldspange' having a not that often seen combination: great to decorate almost any tunic!
